ZED fares were an excellent option, in 1993. Their value has pretty much gone the way of the propeller driven aircraft.

American just published on their website they are pushing the date from 1 May to 11 July. So at least that's more time before a final decision is made.

Starting with tickets issued on July 11, 2024, the only flights that earn AAdvantage® miles and Loyalty Points are those booked directly with American, eligible oneworld® and partner airlines, and preferred travel agencies.
