We would fly an MD11 HNL Hilo during the week on a flower run. Don't know if we still have those contracts or who flies it.

why doesn't delta fly more wide bodies or why do they code share most of their international flying.
Why buy 737s when your expensive pilots don’t care about scope? Cheaper to just pay Transair or I guess it’s Aloha Air Cargo now.

Tell me what company has tight scope and I will show you my pink pony.

Tigers use to furlough each year during off peak Jan-July then recall for peak. Maybe you would like that business model better.

Whats the definition of tight? Zero outsourcing of any kind? Thats not a realistic definition, and even with some outsourcing or partnerships it can still be tight. So how do you define it?

Exactly, whats realistic? Some on hear think we should fly everything. Everyone has some sort of code share, regional feed ect. Airlines trying to capture as much revenue as possible cost effectively.

Flying planes is extremely cash intensive. How many airlines have gone out of business? A lot more than are in business.

We need a good scope clause but flying planes around 20-30% full will not keep a company in business for long.

Jet Blue code shares with Hawaiian, are lingus, Iceland air, Qatar, silver.

Southwest doesn't code share so they are probably the best case.

🦄🦄 Two pink ponies for you. Southwest has the best scope. Don't know if it is because of their contract or their corporate philosophy.
