I would rate Atlas above FedEx right now.

2026 will be interesting for Giant when our contract tug of war hits hard. Just wondering with all the Purple contract delays that the two ends will cross paths for some reason or another. Just spitballing nothing more.

Had the TA included full retro pay, then maybe it would have passed but it didn’t and it failed. The TA is dead and the majority of the pilots, the MEC, ALPA, and the NMB have all moved on and so should you.

I want to see the airline become a top career destination again, but the company would have to make a substantial offer to make amends AND change current operational/scheduling practices to begin to change attitudes within the airline and in the industry.

Full retro or a substantial amendable period recovery payment is absolutely needed in the next TA along with much more, but I refuse to play your game and negotiate in public.

Full Retro is a pipe dream. If we can get to within 10% of industry standard pay rates that would be a win at this point. As far as a destination airline, that train has left. The company clearly would rather outsource or contract, cheaper for the bottom line. Amazing how the last MEC/NC tried so hard to say the company cares about operational control and protecting the brand. The world on time being removed shows how much they care about a brand.

you do realize it’s just a marketing slogan, right? like “the world’s best cup of coffee.”

Google “Fedex delays” then google “UPS delays” to see how badly we suck compared with our competition.

.
This will never happen. They would totally rebuild their lift capacity to be all third party if the current pilot group didn't have a CBA. Of course it wouldn't happen system wide over night but holy crap. How quickly did ASL come in and overtake most of the European flying? They are as interested in owning planes as Uber is owning cabs and Airbnb is owning housing... I feel like most of the pilot group doesn't understand the monumental strategic shift going on. Boxes don't care whose flying em...people do.
