Probably need to listen to the latest Fly By Night podcast. March will be the last month for 757’s being flown in EU (at least by MSL pilots). As predicted, the entire EU narrowbody network has been outsourced. The former NC/MEC and SM continually misrepresented (intentionally) what was happening to our flying in the EU. “ASL hasn’t grown, they’ve just moved the operation from LGG to CDG so it’s more visible.” That was clearly not factual and we knew it but they wouldn’t address it publicly. This marks the end of an era and a goodbye to some of the best flying that made this particular career path so unique. At some point the SM will realize that the path to their improved retirement goes through Sec. 1 and we can all row the boat together. No ratifiable TA exists without codified long term job security.

Ouch. No day flying. No Europe flying. Shrinking of the seniority list with massive retirements so no gain to relative seniority. No contract. No negotiating dates. Downgrading more 75 and Airbus CA’s. FedEx has very quickly become the least desirable airline in the USA. RJ captains are making more than 75 captains and the same as our WB captains if not more with bonuses holiday pay LCA pay. This place is so cooked. Next target is OAK. But the brain dead pilots here think retirement is the priority hah.
An exciting time for fedex pilots Fredrick? Where’d you come up with that one liner. We’re paid 40% less than our peers to fly harder trips and taking another 10-20% cut with your made up 4a2c situation. The nerve that guy has.

I can sympathiize with the impulse to take out your frustrations somewhere and fly off the handle, maybe here, maybe behind the wheel, maybe on your first officer, if you believe you can get away with that behavior with no consequences. If anyone from management contacts you, you are terriefied and now your lips are glued to their rear end.
During my days off, while at my Pentecostal men's retreat, we have a no cell phone policy. It's out in the woods and you would be lucky to get a signal there. Try it sometime, it's a nice break. Somone from management began contacting me and leaving increasingly angry and nasty hate mail. It must have offended his huge ego that I wasn't sitting by the phone to return his calls, quaking in my little boots. He is a pompouse promiscuous male harlot, with no family values or Christian ethics whatsoever. All about instant personal gratification. He doesn't get that I am not phone available 24/7/365 as his battered cabin boy. Who is he to lecture me and correct me on the right way to behave? I have no respect left for him and many other degenerates in leadership. I pray they get right with the Lord.

I've been here since 06 and never had any kind of angry voice mail from managment or scheduling for not returing a draft call. I dont get this post? Has someone here actually gotten an angry message from scheduling for not answering their phone on their days off??
I know if you're in the training department, LCA, etc things are a little different and you're expected to play ball sometimes, but are you talking about normal line pilots??
Like the man said in some movie....
Oh, Danny, this isn't Russia.
