or we could just get an increase to the dc plan with cash over cap and call it a day. That would benefit the majority of pilots here why wouldn’t we do what is the benefit of the majority. Where was the outrage and fist pounding to increase the pension in 2015 when they were actually the silent majority now they are simply the screaming minority

Still waiting for your data on your statement about most of the pilots here not wanting the pension.

Whether most do or don't, it's obvious we're moving away from the pension. Somehow, even your own MEC seems to agree.

Big question is, why on earth are we not pushing for a payout to do so?

You sir, are the most divisive item in negotiations. You seem to want to publicly negotiate against our own MEC and NC. You say your sentiment is shared by over half of the crew force, yet there is not a member of the MEC that hasn't endorsed raising the pension. Most new block reps ran on a platform of keeping new hires on the pension. The NC says that the polling data shows that their asks are perfectly alligned with what the crewforce wants.

So, why do you continue to try to divide?

Really, YOUR MEC??? Who do you work for? Have you even read the NC updates and what they are asking for?

So you are one of those, willing to sacrifice 49% as long as you get yours. What if the majority thought the same about the bottom of the seniority list. Since you were a mid 2022 hire, I bet you wouldn't like it.

Last update I got was an expedited invitation to leave. Does that come with an A plan payout... maybe I missed that part?

Btw, all caps and 3 question marks... we're best friends now, aren't we?

with that logic you did the exact same thing to anyone that retired after 2015 signed but now you want us to take it up the bum so all of you can get a pension bump to sit at home. This is the most backwards pilot group and company on planet earth. You truly will get nothing but bottom of the barrel candidates the day this place ever hires again if that is ever. The word is out on this place and this group that eats the young after touting how great it was and how much better you were than other companies.

The pension will be raised 1 more time and then it will be sunset for all new hires. And we will never have to waste negotiating capital on it ever again. And we will have old pilots who read the entire contract before voting. Cannot freaking wait.

I sense sarcasm in this statement. Do you find "reading the entire contract before voting" to be an unusual or unreasonable thing?

Are we to assume that you did not read the entire TA before voting,or will not read the entire TA, relying instead on the "expertise" of others on social media?
