[Mod Input] A couple things. Everyone needs to watch the civility and insults. Seriously, I know passions can be high (sometimes for good reason), but the Forum Rules are there for a reason. Enforcement activity will increase.

Also, the syntax for quoting another person is important. When you quote and edit someone's post to delete parts that aren't relevant (which is fine), please add a "..." to indicate something has been deleted when possible. More importantly, you have to have the [ and ] brackets around the word "Quote" at the start, and the slash and word "/Quote" at the end. For example (0 inserted for O so it will actually display):

[QU0TE] ...quoted text [/QU0TE]

Default Opacity in retirement solutions.

JG has stated that he wishes to force migration out of the A plan, while raising it for those on the way out the door soon. If we are negotiating a flat dollar UPS style plan which according to him is fixed forever and does not need to be negotiated up for inflation, why is he proposing it only for the middle (being shot down by the company and now negotiating the pilots downward) the youth are supposed to be incentivized to chose the DC plan, the new hires only option the DC plan. Sounds very complex and fishy. We would have A plan, B fund, company match, cash balance capped, flat dollar, DC with capped cash balance spillover, and apparently a low proposed pay rate to make it all cheaper for the company while they celebrate on their super yachts.

One thing for sure is they are smoking cigars and drinking champagne on their super yachts with our money. They are probably tired of the high fives every time we do something stupid though,

NC has a bunch of different plans because that’s what the crew force wants. Not everyone want the same retirement plan.

In 2023, the median CEO pay in the US was $14.9 million, while the median worker pay was $54,857. This resulted in a median CEO-to-worker pay ratio of 270-to-1. This means that, on average, CEOs received more than 270 times the annual salary of their median worker.

Historical Trend:
  • CEO compensation has significantly outpaced worker compensation over time. For example, CEO pay has increased 932% from 1978 to 2023, while typical worker pay has risen much less.
  • The CEO-to-worker pay ratio has also increased significantly. In 1965, the ratio was 21-to-1, while in 2023, it was 290-to-1.
  • This widening gap has led to economic inequality and concerns about fair compensation.

How is Don supposed to know what is confidential or not? Sounds like there is a leaky sieve in the MEC...I think they need to look inward before they try to drag someone for sharing what they hear.

Considering that Don was in the inner circle of the last regime, it wouldn’t be a stretch to think he would know. But you’re right, there is probably a leak. That may have a lot to do with why they are so hesitant to fully release polling data and other things the company could use against us now, and also why there is a bit of mistrust in between members of the MEC.
