In the Navy we can say "head" and "box".

Top Gun is Navy, and as Grumble stated, they can say those words. At least get the details right. It's probably just my name which got the recs dropped for my friend, not sure why the other folks fell out.

One other thing I forgot. He said the sim evaluation is going away. Didn't say how soon though.

More psych evals and written tests, less flying.......makes sense when hiring pilots.

you know what I meant - but if I must spell it out for you.....

ANYONE in the real world "can say those words" vs. "Top Gun" world where they "can't"

"Top Gun" being used as a generic term for _______ insert your favorite branch of service fighter pilot world

Latest rumor...the Delta Dr. is being shown the door. Results have been terrible. Multiple training problems and a couple of peeps fired for attitude issues...

No one in aviation lives in the "real world" anyhow. Never done anything subtle or subliminally, so I sure won't start now but I will try and be a little more sensitive to the feelings of others.

By the way, typing "spell it out for you" is redundant.
