i have waited a REALLY long time for this call, but the Fedex e-mail said do not quit or endanger your current job, we will get you in to test. i think some others were in same boat too; i asked for a later date and they were very helpful. i think my company would send me home early if i pushed it, but it would be a one way ticket.

It will work out one way or another.

My buddy was hired today. What are they saying about classes for those hired in the next month? After peak?

Dragon,
What is your availability date on your app? Just wondering how far out someone can get a call to test.

Thanks

At the town hall meeting this week, PC said they would hire a handful for the next couple of months and then begin back normal hiring in Jan. Always subject to change of course.

i have been available immediately, with exception of 2 years in late 2000s where i was doing time in grade to retire, since 2002.

In my opinion, based on observation from my limited view, the special cases have been considered and selection is now based more on the numbers driven rack and stack. Corrected by selection board.

Maybe wrong, but i think currency was very important.

Good luck.

Dragon7, if I was management monitoring this site, the fact that you don't have the ability to use a capital "I" in your writings would absolutely eliminate you from any hiring consideration. Get with the program!
