It's amazing how us punk teenager's can know so much about aviation and the airlines. Google is indeed our friend. :D

You can choose to bid straight pay or 1.5x straight pay which is called premium. Vast majority of open trips in the summer go premium.

Good luck getting a contract anytime soon. I guess JA makes it ok?

I was thinking the same thing.. And with all that flying on his/her days off, is there even any time off to spend the extra cash..

Hope we have better luck with him than UPS did. Only been there five months and heard he already tore up one of their 767s with a hard landing. Personally, I think he should have stayed at ALK and awaited the merge with DAL.

So I'm confused... In one thread you claim to be a UPS pilot (7/04 referencing Fred coming to the AOC.... You comment on the status of UPS negotiations as "our" negotiations)... Now you are casting dispersions on a new hire at Fedex because he left UPS. You Sir, are not only a troll but completely lacking in grace and class. NOTE to moderator enough is enough please ban him along with his earlier alter ego MEMBrain

Has Fegelein EVER added anything constructive to the conversation? I've asked the Mods to ban him several times? He's clearly a troll. Does anybody know for a fact that he is even a pilot?

Sometimes those flight simulator games can be hard to land! Maybe Fegelein is the guy with the BAD LANDING at UPS, now working on a FLIGHTSIM FEDEX game?

Hey Fegelein, where can I find a FedEx Flight Sim game? ... I'd like to get one for the grandkids

I wonder if he's FauxHunter reincarnated? We haven't heard from FH is a long time. I've been concerned about how his "butterfly shoulder" is doing ... poor guy. It seems like we only hear from FH when his Inflation Calculator pipes in with it's software update.

I was thinking that too. I haven't flown extra in 10 years.

Am just not into it.

Ditto -- give up all your flying so you can fly at time and half? I know a SWA guy who does that too, but he spends about 4 hours a day in front of computers making it happen and works 20 days a month. I've enjoyed my 50 days off since June 1st and still another 22 to go before flying again in August.

As long as we have money Whoooers willing to do the work of a guy and half we won't have a contract anytime soon, and we won't be hiring as many pilots as we really need.

Got to go, have another Tee Time to make.

Does anyone else find any symmetry with the fact that "Fegelein" is the name of a Nazi sympathiser (Eva Braun's brother in law) and a satirist who became famous with parodies of the softer side of Hitler? Anyone who would use Hitler to make a buck is truly a misguided, twisted scumbag.
And now, where were we Fegelein? Someone obviously has some serious issues.
Everyone should avoid engaging with someone who is so unstable that he takes out his frustrations on others while hiding behind an avatar on a public internet site. Just ignore him. Anyone who would identify in any way with Hitler is clearly unstable.

..

Fegelein I'm thinking of was much more than a 'nazi sympathizer' - he was a general in the worst-of-the-worst killing unit - Waffen SS. (Ironically executed for desertion and treason in the last days of the war.)

"Hans Georg Otto Hermann Fegelein (30 October 1906 – 28 April 1945) was an SS-Gruppenführer (general) of the Waffen-SS in Nazi Germany.."
