Victoria is PCs daughter. I met her once or twice. She seems like a regular line pilot and tries to stay as far away from any controversy as possible. In my opinion, if you did make a faux pas re her father in her presence she would simply choose not to hear it.

I have flown with her good pilot and crewmember, I did not know who she was at the time. She did not drop any info on who her father was, which I respect.

Agree. I don't even remember how I knew.

Please use discretion regarding the use of a specific person's name on this public forum. It is one thing to repeat something broadcast by a willing individual publicly, but quite another to speculate and make assumptions over details that are unknown to most if not all. Worse still is the use of a specific name.

As far as the current system goes, you could argue that the old way of doing things gave everyone a warm fuzzy family feel. However the new system still incorporates the referral process while also giving the average Joe his shot too. Ultimately it sounds as if the numbers of people getting an interview with NO referrals is very rare.

Agreed, not good to ever name someone on APC. However, I am glad to see that the things that have been said were positive.

I agree about the names, but they were out there before I posted. If I had not had a positive comment, I would have had no comment.

Anyone know how many days they plan on running interviews in August? More or less? Hoping to hear something sooner than later.

The standing bid shows they have new hires (not named) in classes in September, for the A300, MD11, 757, 767, and 777. New hires in 777s. That blows me away.
