Ive asked this question before but i never got any info on it so ill try again.. I was filling out my fedex profile and one of the tabs gives me an overview of a test that ill have to take.. But there is no link for the test itself.. Does this mean you only get to take the test if they select my app?? Any info guys??

Hi all,
I've heard from a couple folks that FedEx might be changing their hiring mins in the future. Right now pilot credentials still says 1500 multi-turbine/jet. I've only got 1100 B-52/T-38. The rest is mostly T-6 time. 3,600 total, but I'm not currently getting any multi turbine time and won't for a while. Am I SOL?

"Do you have at least 1500 hours total fixed-wing time as PIC or SIC in multi-engine turbo-prop or jet A/C or combination thereof."
Even with a multiplier I fall short on the multi turbine time.
I had heard from 3 FedEx pilots that the minimums were changing or had already changed. Wasn't sure if pilot credentials screening hadn't been updated, but figure that would probably be an unlikely oversight.

One change was the removal of 1000TPIC required to simply preferred. Although if MORE changes are on the way I'm not sure if they've come out yet.

Good Question
Many of us are very frustrated with the process. Some are getting calls with no recommendations, others it takes a very high level endorsement to get past the Shiza Screen. My primary guy I've been pushing for the past 6 months just decided to go elsewhere. We are passing on rock stars because apparently the lawyers and senior managers know better then us lowly line pukes. The process that Doctor Kevorkian brought here a few years back is completely FUBAR. We pass on great people with tons of recommendations to hire anyone with glass time or someones father's brother's nephew's cousin's college former roommate who happen to have a 3.25 GPA.

I can't find info on the INTL bases...is there any kind of document or website that outlines the perks of living out there, how much you'll actually make in general, what the details of the assignment are (housing, insurance, schools) etc?
Appreciate the info guys, thanks!
