Does FDX hire folks w/o internals? and if so does your record need to be superstar caliber?

I was hired in 2012 without a "sponsor" but did have a letter from a FDX pilot. That was 2012 when very few places were hiring more than a trickle. Now is different, I met a new hire without a single FDX letter and he was just a hard working regional captain without any of the higher level quals such as LCA etc... Good luck.

Recently met a new hire with no sponsor, nor letters of recommendation, nothing internal. He did have 767 time and took the offer to go to HKG.

Less emphasis on recs more of a point system
