FedEx Hiring
#1131
About hiring, with Peak essentially here, I think things have slowed down in the interviewing/hiring department. I am completely guessing this, as I have no direct contact with the recruiting folks anymore. I know all of our guys who would usually be posting some info on here are busy trying to figure out how to vote for the Tentative Agreement for a re-negotiated CBA. Voting closes in a couple of weeks, and after the initial fuming from either outcome, guys will come back to share information on this forum.
Good luck to you guys out there waiting. I know it can be tough. In the meantime, enjoy the flying you're doing, wherever you are.

Candidates for jobs involving handling or access to U.S. mail cannot be considered for employment if they have resided outside the U.S., Guam or Puerto Rico for more than (6) six months during the last (5) years prior to today's date, other than the following verifiable exceptions: active duty in the U.S. Uniformed Service; trailing spouse or dependent of someone working for the U.S. government (military or civilian); missionary; student attending school in a foreign country; Peace Corps participant; employee of a U.S. based employer/company or other extraordinary circumstances.
Maybe you can convince them of your extraordinary circumstance

Just finished my day in the blue suit and red tie and got the offer. Apparently there are about 20 in the pool right now, and they are unsure about a Dec BI class. Either way I am pumped to be going purple.
