After a quick glance, this is a big disappointment. The fact that it took so long to get this is pathetic.

Looks to me if you are over 60, give a years notice of retirement, they will pay you half you DSA

Lots of little gems in there for extra pay when they screw with our schedule. Some nice QOL stuff and deviation bank processes are better

All that work for this? Meh...
Pay rates are weak, no A fund improvement, minute B fund improvement, minor extra pay improvements. Underwhelming.

Or you can use you contractually accrued sick time as needed and get paid for all of it.

Look at that bullet point closely. The way I read it, if you are retiring before your 65th b'day you need to stay until 31 Dec to get your "SLAB" (I have no idea what SLAB stands for). I am waiting to see the full language TA before I jump to the conclusion that a retiring pilot needs to work one last peak before expir... er retiring.

Also, the math is incomplete on example #1 . The "word problem" says "50% of the eligible earnings... " The example stops short of completing the "50%" part of the equation. 50% of $175,552 is $87,776. So the retiring pilot in the example will get the lesser of50% of his/her DSA ($98,098 in the example), or 50% of the "eligible earnings" ($87,776).

There is still the $40K bonus for a year's notice.

Unless you want to retire in June, or April, or October or any month other than December (unless that's your birth month).

Just give us one more peak.

50 cents on the dollar for something you've already earned. How special.
