I want the contract we have earned.
1) A real pay raise--not cost of living.
2) Protect the value of my retirement A plan
3)Protect the value of my benefits Medical (I don't want any unreasonable increase in costs and stop comparing my benefits to companies coming out of bankruptcy)
4) QOL improvements--No concessions
5) Hell our careers got extended by 5 years how about 30 years of creditable service towards the A plan and another week of vacation.
I'm sick of trying to just keep what we have and watching our QOL erode away. Death by 1000 cuts.
Again I think comparing ourselves to companies who have not been profitable for a decade is ignorant.
But if you insist then we already have an industry leading contract why would I accept one that has nothing more than a cost of living gain and forces me into QOL concessions. I'll vote No.
The company wants a decade long deal because even they know we won't be industry leading even among these just bankrupt companies for long.
I bet you only do day turns in your cubicle.

Rock is your management bonus dependent on the TA passing?
OK then lets blow the top out of the contract like other airlines did back in 2000.
Lets really set a new standard best pay, benefits, work rules ever. I'm glad to help everyone else out too.
Step 1 to doing that--Vote this Turd down. Now you happy.

I am senior and my schedule is getting worse not better, thanks to trusting the company and the union on concessions like city purity. I thought our union was suppose to negotiate contracts that made our lives better. Instead we get cost of living pay raises and concessions. I guess when you are a FedEx manager, Union officer or cubicle dweller you wouldn't know that. Ask anyone who has been here for more than a decade are we working more or less? Pick up a 757 bidpack and look at it, I think you would be shocked. I guess you are right none of us should upgrade. Maybe we can give enough concessions that we can junior man Upgrades.

I am firmly in the no camp. But my god, I'm not sure if I want you on my team arguing my points. Lay off the name calling it's unproductive and unbecoming.
Use your intellect and writing skills....not the third grade responses. As many have said, it's just business. You are WAY to emotional. Take a breath.
Keep posting....but stay professional. The NC, MEC and the No voters are all entitled to their opinions....
Just my 2 Cents.....and worth less

I thought you were kidding. I'll tell you what, I'll PM you my employee number if you PM me yours. You can look me up and check for yourself. If I am or ever have been in any management position, you can have my lump sum bonus. If I haven't, I get yours. Deal?
