Pay, Bonus, Health Benefits, Sick, Substitution, Commuting, Uniforms $50, are you kidding, an extra shirt to spill coffee on! I'm afraid this crew force does not have the balls to say no, and that is a shame. I will look back and say, told ya so!
We are all tired and frustrated to be sure, but FedEx knows that, don't be swayed. Talk to people who know real numbers and then make up your mind. Get involved.
What do u think SLAB will do for your senority? Nothing. We need to move forward even more focused and united. We can get the contract we deserve. VOTE NO
Before you assassinate our NC Chairman, look in the mirror or have your peers look in the mirror. How many VBB requests were sent in the latest solicitation? How many in the past year? How many are making their personal choice to enjoy Free days off?

Yoko, I'm with you. I'm disappointed too, but its the 4200 Pilots who will get the contract, not 1 or 2 sitting at the table.

That would be a good question for the Q&A, how many VBBs were there in the last 48 months.

Exactly. The NC got everything they could from the Company this round. It's a low ball offer and they're waiting to see if we will take it. It's up to us as a pilot group to show the Company and the MEC that we will not settle, and that we have the resolve to do what it takes to get the contract we deserve.

I sort of agree with you but in the good old days at an ALPA property this TA would never gotten past the NC. ALPA pilots NEVER got to vote on a contract. It was always the MEC that had the yes/no vote. Today with membership ratification the MEC can always blame it on the membership. Do you think Fred Smith was correct when it was reported he said ALPA was just a bunch of Punks?

I have an idea. Since so many think that this will pass no matter what, we should tell everyone to vote no just to make it closer to the 50%, because it is going to pass anyway

Assuming you watched the webcasts, which are now available on the ALPA website, did you get any hint that the guys from the NC think there's more wiggle room between what they negotiated and what the company is still willing to offer? Did you get any sense that they are hoping we'll vote this TA down because they think they can negotiate a better TA if we do?

I didn't.

Me neither.

-SL saying the company was still trying to come after the A-plan up until the last minute.

-The company's line in the sand was the A-plan. No way it was going up. For us it was PBS, taking away the A-plan or messing with vacation.

Lots of other great info in there too...and I'm only through the first video.

Of course, if you don't trust our NC to tell the truth, then don't waste your time. So, I guess what I'm saying is...nobody from this message board will be watching the videos except myself and Rock.

What would you expect them to say? "I negotiated an awful deal and left millions on the table?" Seriously?

I expect them to tell the truth. Do you believe they are lying?
