My estimate is probably 65k to 70k. It depends how long you are training pay and how busy your fleet is.

Sounds great. I needed to know how many of my Indoc buddies I can fit into one apartment. Thanks.

Plan on 60k, you can probably beat that number if you fly draft. The biggest factor is training pay at 4K/month until signed off IOE. I was hired over 3 months ago and still on training pay. I'll get signed off this week but many guys in my class will spend 4 months on training.

Why the difference in training times? Is it due the number of new hires exceeding training capacity?

After indoc, students end up on different timelines due to sim and LCA availability. The more senior you are, the more expedited your training footprint.

I just did a crude tally of my first year pay stubs and came in at a net pay of just under 50k for the eight months I had between finishing IOE and starting first year pay. I didn't calculate my training period into that, but that should be pretty easy to guess-timate.

And training was four months for me on the Airbus.

Too late to edit, but I just re-read what I wrote and think I need to clarify. The 4 months of training was from the start of Indoc, not just the Airbus program.

Still a lot of time. Was there time between indoc and training? Or were the sims just spread out? Or was it a spread out IOE?

Just to pile on with a question...if there was a break between Indoc and training, in addition to "how long is the break," did they have any restrictions on staying in the area, or any requirements that had to be completed during the break? Trying to determine a plan for terminal leave from the military...

Thanks for any/all help!

Cheers,
cajun
