Default Open Time Release ... Pathetic

Welcome to Open Time Release ...
VIPS is completely blown out.
FxCal and PFC are at a standstill.

FDX is operating in the Stone Age with anything regarding IT.

Completely inept and pathetic wrt handling the volume required.

And we're supposed to be a technology corporation.

If the customer website said "server is too busy", you can bet heads would roll.

Nobody cares about us, or this would have been fixed 10 years ago.

Shack.

Where's ALPA FDX in this process?
FDX, CRS, and IT will do nothing to improve a broken process for which they have no concern or motivation to improve.

This is now and has been a significant impact to the daily lives of ALL PILOTS on the property for years ...

Apparently the only way to get the proper attention is via Block Rep and leadership communication with a call to action. A negotiated LOA improvement to existing contractual language is probably the only way to achieve a resolution.

Fire up the emails ladies and gents.
Time to roll up our sleeves and get cracking.

LOL. Nothing going to change unless the contract makes em. Don't waste your time bugging your ALPA guys. If it was important it would of been fixed long time ago. Our QOL adjustments suck. Had a buddy at DAL drop a R day on thanksgiving day. That ever happen at fedex?

Since our contract says we can't drop trips or R days that touch Thanksgiving, the obvious answer is no.

I had a SW buddy non-rev his wife and kids for Thanksgiving. That ever happen at FedEx?
