Meritocracy is great until it interacts with actual live human beings.

I'm just asking because it seems extremely unlikely that if you asked a meaningful number of pilots at any company that all of them would truthfully state that they "absolutely love working for the company".

All crew members on the large cabin aircraft are PIC’s for scheduling reasons.
You are eligible to be picked for a large cabin team at anytime once you’re a PIC
Each team and commander are the ones who choose their team. Those who claim you need knee pads are just not a fit for those teams. You want a tight knit group when you routinely fly 10+ hr legs together.
Get to know the teams on the particular fleet you want. See which one fits your style and network with them.

Seriously, I’m a regional guy who moved on to legacy, so all I’ve ever known is seniority, but it’s probably one of the best systems created in our entire industry.
I’m sorry but this will be brought up in many flight decks now for a great laugh.
Thanks in advance

I’m really curious about the new Netjets TA. Anyone know what they are voting on? I’ve heard rumors of some of the improvements, but does anyone have info? It sounds like they will be pulling even further ahead on compensation.
