If HJ is turning people away, they must be currently in prison.

The only positive for the Lear pilots is that they now have a "Direct Relationship with Flex management". Now they can see who is truly keeping their pay at 2010 levels with no Union to blame.

That’s really nothing new.

Got that T-shirt too!
Note to self, never let the client volunteer to drive the rental...

My flight dept may be going away, waiting to find out. On a lark, I submitted my app to flex, next day I got an invite for either a phone or web meeting. I have not yet responded. Does anyone know what this initial process entails and subsequently, what the interview process is? I read back several pages but the info seems dated. Thanks. And yes, I am also looking at other options ;-)

Probably like every interview you have been on. There is a sim ride, Challenger 300, basic instrument stuff but all raw data, no AP/ FD, if you have never flown a Challenger it was fun, but I had issues with the trim button it seemed like I could never get it where I wanted it. The whole ride is 15 mins or less so there isn’t a lot time to get used to the airplane.

I did the phone screen last summer. Pretty straight forward get-to-know-you session. Talk about your resume and experiences and they give you info on the job, schedule, pay, aircraft, etc. Honestly felt like they were trying to sell the job to me not me selling my resume to them. I think they just want to make sure you’re a real person before they buy you a plane ticket to Dallas for the real interview. I thought it was a good experience and I got invited to interview.

No written, they didn’t even look at my log book. Remember all companies sugar coat everything, they make it sound like people are beating down the door to work there, I think they said they are sitting on 6000 applications and yet there were only six at the interview. Remember you are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you.
