I toured atp in phoenix and also looked at the UND training center which is right next door at the airport. Everyone at ATP was very helpful and I was thinking about going their until they raised the price 5000 dollars.

It's insane how expensive they are now. I'm not going to bash their school, but I will bash the price. I know it's not too high if people are still paying it, but I'm sure not going to pay that much!! Although I'm thinking about paying the $6k after I get my bachelors degree and get some CRJ sim time and training just to have it on my resume.

Complete waste of money Leo! You'd be better off buying a block of ME time. Better yet, invest it in something liquid. You may need it the first few years at a regional

you're probably right about that. I could get a good chunk of ME time for that price. Split a block with another PIC under the foggles and make out like bandit!!

Starting ATP in Phoenix Aug. 6. Can't pass up the multi-time, important from what I gather.

The only two guys i know who used ATP in PHX had a similar experience. One of them was busted for being too high on an ILS and saying that he was going to continue down to localizer mins to recapture the glide slope. The other guy passed but had the same FE and he was a total tool.

WTF does an FE think that he can show up over an hour late and not give any kind of explanation?

With all this talk about ATP Phoenix I was wondering if anybody has some opinions on the UND training center that is right next door at the airport. UND seems to have several branch training centers around the country that are connected to a local community college. Gilbert Chandler community college is the one they use in the Phoenix area.

I visited the PHX ATP facility in May of this summer. The guys over there were really friendly and helpful. As for the price...I would be paying just as much here in Hawaii at my local FBO.
