Congratulations on the 150. I have a 1960 150 that I got cheap about ten years ago. For pure cheap fun flying, it is hard to beat.
I live in central TX and have flown it several times to see family in Nebraska, and flew it to NC once.
Mine, like yours, sat outside for some time and isn’t much to look at but I love flying it. Now that it is in a hanger, I keep saying I am going to clean it up and put a coat of wax on it, but every time I go out to do this the weather is too nice and I go flying instead.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed mine.

I had a 1976 Cessna 150M, N66028-Loved that airplane. Bought it in 1986 when I was in College/Flight School for $6000. Flew the crap outta it for 3 years and sold it for $12,500.
One of many dumb decisions-I wish that I had kept it. Had autogas STC and you could NOT find a cheaper way to fly.
Here lately, I started flying for fun again too. A Pitts S2C, and a SkyRanger. Yea, that's fun.
