People aren't buying it they are instructing for it around here.
How could you instruct for it, if someone doesn't buy it?

And no, I don't believe in PFT. If it isn't for a private, instrument, comm, or the polishing for an ATP, DON'T PAY.

Did anyone else get upset after reading an article in the most recent Flying magazine that portrayed Gulfstream as an airline-oriented training center and a boon to the aspiring 121 pilot? I'm tempted to write the editor for the first time.

I think most of the money made on twins is in the wet rate... often not even close to the real fuel burn... for example the next airport over has 100LL for 2.68/gal , the Seneca I burns around 9 gph/side so about 18gph total figure.... that's around $49/hr in fuel alone, the airplane rents for $100 dry...
when FBO's factor in the cost of full-serve large airport fuel it jacks it up by like a hefty amount plus a fuel "surcharge" at some places....
I'll take dry rates all day

I don't know how you could if no one buys it but we aren't seeing any signs of reduction in multi students. Our twins are flying close to the same number of hours this year compared to last year.
