Sounds good that regionals are hiring almost anyone with with minimal blemishes and the hours required. How many hours can you build after you get your CFI certs, can you teach at a local FBO and a school like ATP, or even banner tow etc.? I just would like to get to the regionals quickly so I don't miss out on what seems to be one of the few better eras for pilots.

Personally, id do a local FBO, all cfi's there will be willing to fly just as much as ATP would. It would be cheaper, and likely better instruction. Especially if you can get a very experienced cfi. Hard to find at ATP.
Most local FBO's also would employ you after you get a cfi, and you can work into the charter department later on.

Effectively? What do you mean? Get the best training? Find a job asap?
Do whats best for you, go where you want to go to school. Spend the money you dont mind spending. If you want fast training, lots of multi time then sure go to ATP. But that isnt your only option for completing your training fast or getting multi time. There is no one right answer here. Thats a choice you have to make.

Its a long road ahead my friend. Enjoy the ride to where you are going.

You could work there your whole life if you want to. Im sure ATP would rather you move on after a year or two to make room for a new guy building time. But i know of CFI's who have 13,000 hours of dual given. There is no limit as to how much time you can fly. Until your medical expires i guess? Haha

ATP would be one of the fastest ways to build time.
