Couldn't help you there, I'm a student, not an admissions clerk.

I can help!

It's 85.7% for both campuses. 89.4% for Prescott alone. I'd be curious to see the credentials of the "unlucky" 1/10 they actually turn away!

I'm an airline pilot, and I'm telling you you're NOT lucky in the least.

Thanks a lot CaptainMark, I appreciate it. Aside from some of the negatives, I am enjoying myself. I like the people I've met and the people that I work with over here in the maintenance hangar. I plan to take advantage of what the school offers their students. I do not plan on instructing here however, too many of the younger students are not exactly the type that I could see myself teaching. I kind of have an agenda of what I'm going to do once I graduate.

Looked into it. To many chuck yeager, my dad is a XYZ major Capt. and he is going to get me a job types for me. Not to mention the absolute non-existance of girls! I went to a small 141 school got they exact same ratings and a degree and paid about 1/4 the price. Well, thanks to the guard, I actually only paid about 1/32 out of my own pocket . Another good thing about my university is that it it's main course of study was not aeronautics! Actually had quite a big nursing program! That, in turn, equaled about a 3/1 girl to guy ratio.

On top of all that, all friends in the airlines make the same crappy pay at the regionals as ERAU grads. Most hired at about 500/100 just like ERAU/UND/any other college with a bridge program. Difference----> one paid about 1/4 the price to get them to the same place. After that it's all connections that get you where you want to go anyway.

I have nothing agianst ERAU but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I have a few ERAU guys in my UPT class one is the type I talked about earlier and the other is a great guy. But both agree they wished they would have gone elsewhere and paid much less. They also stated that they felt like a number. That was the great thing about a small flight school that I went to, it was like a family. Everyone pretty much knew everyone else and it was a great atmoshere. The cheif pilot truely cared and took time to get to know everyone.

Default Different Perspective

For a slightly different perspective:

I think this post and the thousand others about ERAU, ATP, RAA, etc are all based upon the same premise. The only right answer here is to agree to disagree. I went the FBO Part 61 route. I'm a good stick, but not the best in the world, I don't fly for a major, and I am very aware that the same things I could have gotten from a 4 year flight school were not afforded to me by going the FBO route. I flew ****ty airplanes for a while, went thru many CFI's who either did not fit my personality or left for the airlines.

I looked into ERAU, in fact, Coach Guilliams called me to ask me to play baseball there. I went to UConn instead and played football there, but I still wanted the structure of ERAU from a flight perspective.

It all depends on what the student wants, which requires a real gut check. I preferred the FBO route because it was very flexible, allowed me to fly when I wanted to (PPL in 13 days because I was able to devote two weeks of my own time to getting it done.) Secondly, I was able to pick and choose my CFIs based on how they fit into my style, instead of having a school pick them for me and be stuck with them.

Bottom line, there are sacrifices any way you go. Liberty vs. strict regimen. New vs. Old airplanes. Flexible schedules vs. Flight blocks.

In summary.... it all depends on the needs of the student to allow them to learn the way they need to learn to be a good pilot

I was thinking of going there, but didn't think I'd ever be approved for a loan. Didn't bother applying.

You forgot the most important comparison of all:
$6456 vs $25490 annual tuition.
