I finally demanded and answer and said if they did not respond, I would proceed to contact CREW for the same position. Got the invite the next day. No prep whatsoever. I heard (while over there talking to a CREW guy) he was sent a mock-up of the 767 along with other materials. I got an email with the profile and thats it. The day before the interview, the recruiter call me and basically just said, "relax, be yourself, you'll do fine" Never once saw her, sent people who didn't even work for park to escort us to the medical and interview. Had to WALK to the interview (read: sweat) while the CREW people got a ride. I much would have rather had a prep along the lines of "the sim is the most important thing" or "I see you have Airbus time but not Boeing, have you considered getting in a sim prior to the interview?"
I would go with CREW

Just read your experience with PARC. Thanks for the post, I'll check them both out.

Dominican, Thanks a lot for the information. The wait is certainly difficult, hoping for some good news very soon.

I was just wondering what was considered "competitive" for the FO positions? Its something I'd be interested in, but I don't think I'd have the time they'd want. The PARC listing says 3000TT and 1000 Jet. Those of you that have been hired, what are the typical experience levels?

Does anybody know the A/C delivery schedule for AJX/AJV, I heard it recently changed for the better.

Technically AJX doesn't have any airplanes, we get assigned an aircraft from the ANA mainline 767 fleet. AJV is receiving brand new (not conversions) 763F's both companies are receiving new airplanes and Boeing has increased the delivery schedule to try to keep ANA from blowing a gasket with all the problems they have had with the 787 and the 748. ANA received a new pax 763 in November and one in December, there was a freighter schedule for December, they are also receiving 777's. The future delivery schedule is a work in progress and it depends on Boeing's ability to finally get their act together I guess.

I guess I need to be more active answering questions on here since DOM is the only guy doing it.. Sorry for that...

YES, if you use a company provided business class ticket, you get full miles. The company will even include your freq. flyer number when they make the booking, so you have access to the reservation on the web.
Obviously, if you opt for the allowance and buy your own ticket, you would get those miles..

This is the first month I have ever used the company ticket.. It's pretty slick since it is First Class on the Domestic (USA) legs, and I am flying into one city and out of another. (We are allowed to have 2 destinations on file at any given time)

Hope it helps, and keep the questions coming..

Yes you keep the miles... I made 1K on United for the year. If you commute to the US you will get heaps of miles very quickly.

I believe that you buy the ticket to the interview and you are reimbursed later, regardless of the outcome. If my memory is right, they reimburse you via direct deposit within a matter of days.
