Thanks everyone....

This process is long, I realize that. I will just wait and see what happens, like everyone else and in the meantime, try not to drink to much.

Cool

Does anyone know how long before class that ANA notifies potential candidates? I am sure its longer than 4 weeks, but just curious.

I probably should be asking, since I am still waiting to see if I actually passed all parts.

Thanks everyone, a hopeful.

Just found out today that the May and possibly July classes will have a 1 month break somewhere in their training. This is due to a lack of JCAB examiners. Not sure at what point it will occur though...

Asia, Good to know...I also talked to a guy who was just getting to the end of a one month break right before his checkride. He did not say why, but said he got paid the whole time and they flew him home. I think he was in the Nov class.

Two of my friends, one started in November and the other in January both had one month breaks during training at ANA for the same reasons, JCAB examiners. Both of these guys are on the 767. Another friend of mine starts next week in the May class, he is going to keep me informed if he gets a break.

Also another pilot from my airline had a month break. He is on the Dash.

Now to just sit and wait to see if I hear anything.

Had a JCAB inspector doing a route check on us recently and he said that they have lost a few inspectors that have taken positions in the private sector so they are pretty short right now, but hey! getting a month off with pay during training is not a bad thing in my view
