As long as you have the required time to get an ATP, a regional airline will have no problems with you coming from PS. You may have an easier time in training since PS has a structured and standardized training program and operating procedures.

You will build time faster as a CFI.

That's all pretty relative. Depending on where you instruct, time might come quickly or not at all. Do what makes you happier.

Took a good hard look at what life is like in the regionals before you jump into it. The PlaneSense QOL in my opinion seems like a much better deal. Although the regionals are flashing a lot of money around, the QOL is crap.
You're so clueless. I have 17 hard days off this month. I don't work more than a 4 day trip. QOL is way better at the regionals than planesense. I haven't been min rested once. Oh, and it's kind of nice knowing your schedule a month in advance and not getting 7 legs a day thrown at you. Just my dos cents.

Are they actually hiring anyone at 500hrs?

One of the guys in my class had like 450 when he got the offer. Granted, he had a stellar resume and some turbine time.

The only stipulation is that you need 500 hrs by the time you are actually hired in order to comply with 91K regs.

In my case, I was contacted a week later. But I think a lot of people have different dates when they were contacted.

My guess would be to make the wise choice of going to a regional and having a career rather than go to PSI for a dead end job.
