I have been a long time observer of this thread mostly because it’s a local company and I wondered how younger pilots used this job as a stepping stone in their careers. Quoting the post above anybody flying a PC12 at Planesense who has little multi time and 1500 hours needs to move on as soon any company bonds are fulfilled. Multi time is going to be needed in all most worthwhile jobs especially if airlines are your goal .
I was told by former coworker ( I’m DAL retired ) this PM that his new hire FO this last trip had around 3000 hrs and no PIC time . The FO did have a masters degree but knowbody on the inside to help him. Times are moving fast folks .

Thanks I've been checking that site out. Looks like I have an interview next month and they want me to fly out to the hq for the interview. Not so thrilled since the trip will cost me close to $1000.

My shop pays for travel for sims after a Skype interview, but it's the only 135 operator I know that does it.

In 121 things change, but 135, a lot of it is Skype only, or fly-here-on-your-own-dime.

 

With this one they try to get a skype interview done first usually. Then they will try and schedule an interview with you closer to where you live while they are on a recruiting trip. They just finished up a recruiting trip a couple of weeks ago and that is probably why they want you to come to PSM for the interview. JETBLUE is usually the cheapest to Boston depending on where you live. Stay at the Hampton Inn PSM on Durgin and you might be able to get the PS rate. Also, the shuttle will get you back and forth from the bus terminal to the hotel and to the hangar etc. The C&J bus will get you to PSM. $1000 is quite an investment for just a interview in my opinion, especially since I will need to relocate for the job. Ive seen some companies that would pay for the tickets there, or at least the hotel. In the end it just boils down to how bad I want the job.
