Yes. 18 mos. Then 1yr for captain supercedes 18 month if you upgrade before your initial 18 months are up.

So I got the email saying my application has been sent to the chief pilot for review, but does anyone have an idea of how long it usually takes to hear back from this point? Or will they at least let me know if they deny my application?

How are things looking over there, are things picking up? What's the current mood among the pilots in regards to furloughs etc?

The flying is picking up, especially this weekend. As for furloughs there is no concern about that since since they just started a new hire class and are planning one class per month starting in July

Still mostly direct entry captains?
And what is their washout rate like?

Typically, how long after an application goes to the Chief Pilot for review does it take them to reach out to the applicant? (if they are chosen for the next steps)

The new hires are mostly FOs and I’m not sure what the washout rate is.

Put in for PS back at the end of April. Sent an email out to HR last week or so just checking on the status of it. Received word back that it's still there and due to the New Hampshire "Stay at Home" order the hiring process had been put on hold. A few days later I received another email from the head of HR to all applicants advising that we are still in the hiring process, but the NH stay at home order until May 31st has put things on hold for the moment. They will continue to update all candidates as things continue to move forward and become fluid.
