I did when I was hired in 2011, great experience. It's unfortunate if they removed this training.

I think you can go to OKC and do it for free with the FAA:

I put in application last week. Got an email acknowedging the application, and the following day another email saying my file had been passed up to Chief Pilot. I'll keep posting here as this progresses in case it helps anyone else out.

I applied at the beginning of last week and received the same set of emails. Nothing further yet...

Depends on the training department's workload, but in the past its been interview, in class the following month.

Is there any chance that the company will work with employees on the distance from a reporting base requirement? I'm seriously looking at all of the home-based options that are out there, with PlaneSense being at the top of the list, but I unfortunately live a 3 hour drive from their nearest reporting base. Making that drive would be absolutely no issue for me, but I'm wondering if that would be out of the realm of possibility for the company to allow or make work?
