Looking into the company and have two questions: First, how strict are they on the 1000hr tt they advertise? Sencond, it says within 100 miles of the airport, Im right about 98nm as the crow flies. What is their definition of within 100 miles or is that just the average. It would only take me two hours to drive, so I guess Im asking is qol worth it to drive that far?

CFII pilot, 1000 hrs is a good minimum unless you have relevant experience that would make you a better candidate (135 or 91 jet/turboprop time, Pilatus time etc). As far as the 100 miles, you are required to make a 2 hr call out. It can be discussed in the interview.
Jabraham03, we are still advertising for classes, although we are properly staffed at the moment so classes going forward may be smaller. PM me with any other questions.

Can anyone describe a typical 8 day schedule?
Are the pilots given crew meals? (Not a lot of food at fbo's)
What are the accommodations like?
Is this a place someone could stay for a career?
Does the company give pilots adequate rest?
Lots of ?'s, thanks for any info.

Show up day 1, take the plane out for 8 days come home. Sometimes you spend a night in PSM to swap crews or planes. Sometimes you meet a crew or plane on the road mid-cycle via airline.
Crew meals are available when required and requested.
Accommodations are Hilton, Marriott, IHG, etc.
You could stay here for a career if you wanted. We have a number of pilots who have. You won't get rich but you'll make a decent paycheck. We're hiring and growing and generally doing well business wise.
The company fully complies with all 135 regulations concerning rest and duty (since we also operate 135 in addition to 91K).

On the flip side, there are a lot of short days too. You just can't count on either. It's all depends on owner demand.

Ok thanks for both replies. I've been in the regionals for a number of years and I'm used to long days. The thing I don't want to deal with anymore is long commutes to work (two legs) and reserve abuse. Once I'm at work I've no problem with usage, that's what I'm there for. I'm just so accustomed to poor treatment overall I don't even know what it's like to work for a company that treats its pilots well.
