I didn't see it in the thread anywhere so I have to ask what the competitive times are for Avantair.

Thanks in advance.

I do not work for Avantair but I have friends that do. They tell me that they work you a lot of hours and that FO's do not get to fly the airplane unless the aircraft does not have any pax. Not sure if this is true but that's what I was told. I would try to go to Netjet or any of the fractional before going to Avantair if you can.

FOs cannot fly the airplane with PAX on board until they have 225 hours in the aircraft. I know people have their opinions about this policy but don't go passing up a good job because of this policy. Half the legs are empty anyway. The company is growing rapidly and seems to have the potential to become a great place to be. They have only been around for five years and already seem to be a pretty good place to be. I just wrapped up training and feel pretty good about them.

So seeing as they dont pay till training is done, do they consider IOE training?
