Avantair Interview

The amount of hours depends on the week - some weeks are busier than others, it varies greatly. I've flown 35 hours in a week and I've flown 20... Your base has no bearing on your busy-ness, or lack thereof. Your gateway is where you meet up with a plane or, normally, airline to meet up with your plane for the week.

4 hours-ish with full fuel and ability to get high. 1300 miles-ish with same stipulation.
With that said I only have about a 2.5 hour @ss and hate being in for much more than that.

I read in this thread that Avantair doesn't pay you until after training. So when do you actually get a paycheck, and about how much is that check? I think someone said you get a per diem check after your check ride, then go on salary. I assume it's about a month before you see the per diem money, and then how long until a normal paycheck? Also, I may have missed it, but when do benefits (aka health insurance) kick in?
I'm looking to move on from my regional, but need to make sure my family and I can survive financially until the new paychecks start coming in. Thanks.

I thought I heard 12-18 months for the upgrade. Not sure about NYC area - looks like JFK/LGA/EWR are still on the list:

Cockpit looks a bit tight, but that thing will blow past your Saab:
