Are you seeing allot of NJ guys wanting to bid NJI - the pay will be more because of heavier aircraft right.

It depends, most guys are better off waiting for a captain upgrade because it pays way more than FO at NJI. New hires could go after they've done their first a/c tour, but there are guys senior to me that are bidding for the NJI FO seats. Why? I don't know. They probably want the type rating to do work on the outside.

Yes I'm drilling (sts) with a guard squadron. It's easy. NJ is very good about mil leave. No problems whatsoever.

Seems like a good place. I do not know if I would leave DAL. Tough choice. Any suggestions?

The job stability at NJ is better than the pax airlines. As some have said before, the people we fly don't care about the price of fuel. Plus the growth here is great. BTW, almost half my indoc class 2.5 yrs ago was DAL and my sim partner was a 26 year captain that was an early out. Things look good now, but what about 20 years from now when you have a lot of time invested. I personally don't trust any pax airline. But that is just me. Every flying job is a crap shoot, I just think the fracs and cargo have better odds.

Both Netjets and DAL are top-of-the-line in their respective industries. Netjets really does offer a great alternative to the majors - especially with the latest TA. If you can handle 7/7 (at the least) you could have a great career at Netjets.

ACL65 pilot - what is it that you don't like about Delta? Flying the MD88? Rarely do you hear Delta pilots wanting to jump ship - what about DAL don't you like? Long upgrade times?

Love DAL. It is about QOL, not Delta. It is an awesome place to be.
I will probably never leave, I am just looking at ways to increase my QOL for my family before I am not left with any viable choices.
