Any news from XOJet?

I did not make any threats to swede, just a warning that I know people have lost jobs and unknowingly damaged their reputation for posting inside info on the internet.
I did not fire anyone, I am not proud of the way that went down, but that is something I can't change. My comment of having a bad reputation was meant for any employer, not just xo. I was not in any way saying that I would try to blacklist swede, or whatever you might be implying. I was not trying to be cryptic, just my take on spreading rumors. It may seem innocent, but it can get people in serious trouble.
I forgot how thin skinned you guys are here.
I woud like to appologize if my post was offensive, that was not the intent. I should have put winking smiley faces to make it seem less cryptic. My point was that I know Swede has access to people/info about not only xo, but whatever company he SCM's for, and that he should be careful what he takes to the internet. Thats all. I thought it was more advice than anything else.
Kind of like terminating one in five of your fellow pilots, with no warning... at Christmas time (or "the Holiday Season", for those PC HR types)??!?
No offense, Clyde, but lighten up a little

Hey Clyde,
I'm also sorry if I misread your intent on the post.... And you're right, many of us are jumpier and more thin-skinned after what we have seen and lived through in aviation in the past two years.
Good luck to all you guys,
B727DRVR
P.S.- I hope that the additions to your fleet rumor proves to be true. The frax side of aviation could use a little good news lately.

No problem, I should try to make my point more clearly also. I hope we hear good news also, for the entire industry.

The Phenom story is a rumor, heard from one of our sales guys on a conference call. I think it would be cool to get some Phenom 300's, but its only a rumor.
And Clyde is a great guy, he is not here to call out people or antagonize fights. You guys just took him way to seriously...

There are not bases, but domiciles. When you start a rotation, unless there is coincidentally a plane at an airport near your domicile, you will be airlined to the location of an aircraft to replace the existing crew.
This rotation I was lucky and started a trip from DAL, and it looks like I will be possibly ending my rotation in DEN, so from DEN I will airline home to DFW. Living in the DFW area is good for easier transition days, most of the guys that live on the west coast can have really long travel days when they have to airline from the east coast.
Of the 8 on 6 off rotation the first and last day of my 8 day rotation are transition(airline) days, so that my 6 days off are real days off.
