You ought to be able to count the very small class that just went through INDOC as hiring this year... More coming next year for sure, but we still have 11 people in the hiring pool from last year we have to get in class first.

We are looking for full time ME guys right now!

Still looking for ME guys right now... We are going to have 6-9 full time (2 year commitments) ME slots open up this year. Not all at once, but by the end of the year we should have 12 Full time guys over there. I think we have 3 confirmed full time guys there right now... More Challengers coming in March, should have 4 or more new 300's this year! Some growth is good I'd say...

Hiring for Stateside Ops probably begin end of Summer.

FalconFlyer, let me get this right. Are you guys hiring specifically for the ME operation or sending pilots on a voluntary basis?

Current employees have first right to volunteer for the M.E. positions. If there are still vacant slots, crews will be hired off the street for the M.E. jobs. After completing a two year commitment, and assuming pilots have the right to work in the USA, they can transfer to domestic operations.

We have a total of 5 pilots assigned to the UAE on a full time basis with 3 more new hires in the pipeline.

How is the rotation schedule for the ME op? I would consider it if we get a decent amount of time to come back to the states to see family.

Sorry, I don't think we will be hiring for any rotating positions. The plan is to staff the UAE with permanent expat pilots. I suppose from time to time there may be a need for a couple rotating guys, but there would be a long line of current pilots ahead of you who will want to go over for a month or two.

But, to answer your question, rotating pilots currently work either 1 month on 1 month off, or two months on two months off.

XOPilot, quick question for you...

I was given some contact information for two people in HR, by the last names of Ferrell and Backus. I was wondering if you would give me your opinion on contacting them directly.

I have heard that some HR people dont like to be contacted directly, but some do. I was just simply wondering if you had heard anything about these individuals (are they nice and wutnot) and if you think that they would mind a direct email.
Thanks for any insight you can give.
Cheers
