Are the crews training on the G500 from the Legacy 650 charter operation (not JetSuiteX) or from the Phenom fleet? Good for them! Would be an awesome airplane to fly!

Sounds like a typical Qatar Airways Strategy - they make a big order for new airplanes and then they spread them around their affiliates at probably decent lease rates (after launch order discount). Qatar is doing the same thing with 49%-owned Air Italy and leasing them some of their ordered 737-MAX (now grounded) and internally-sourced A330s.

I had heard rumors of a separate payscale for the G500s but have not seen one yet.
