It is a small world. giving someone an attitude is absolutely unnecessary. XOJET currently has 42 aircraft with 3 more used X aircraft in pre-buy. As far as meetings with other companies, the pilot group is pretty much kept in the dark. All of us hope it is for the better. It is a good company but has problems like any other. Nothing is perfect. At the moment it appears to be doing well.
I'll admit that my first post on this topic didn't come across as I meant it too, and I apologize, I'm not trying to beat down on guys that are on hard times.

Is what I posted that you quoted considered giving someone attitude? I'm not trying to be a smarta$$, I was being sincere.

Tone is hard to be heard in a post Sa227. Maybe one of this would have been better.

It's not offensive. Step 1 internal rec. Step 2 get call for interview. Step 3 have a great interview. Step 4 get call for class date. It's just like another company after you fly for a few months. The trans cons will get long after the first few. Xo makes money on the long haul flights. the manegmant is good, they will buy planes if they can make money on the purchase and flight segments that best suits them.

Anybody know how many more they are looking to hire this year? Is it continued hiring for the foreseeable future or are you guys properly staffed? I have a buddy that works there that wrote me a LOR and was wondering the prospects of a phone call.

I know we are scheduled to get more planes this year. I'm not sure if they have already interviewed or hired for these yet, or if they will get new folks closer to the aircraft arrival. Keep updating your resume online, and stay in contact with your buddy for updates from his LOR
