Just be prepared. I can promise you that demand there is down, it is down everywhere. I can count on both hands, and have no fingers left over, the friends that have been laid off or furloughed in the last 2 weeks at 91/135 jobs. XO did a lot of pilots dirty in 2008. I hope nobody gets the axe but just prepare yourselves as best you can just in case, that way you aren't caught with your pants down.

Switched from a Tuesday A schedule to a Wed A schedule during this transition period. April of each year is when the “new bid” takes affect for the next 12 months.

XO uses the last week of March and the first 2 weeks of April to get folks switched over if that is required, I.e. I started on a Tuesday but end tomorrow on a Wed.

As for my rotation. Much less busy than last, flew every day but this week started in LNK and flew to PWK with a single pax to VNY

Follow up to SDL one leg, next day to PSM (beautiful area, will go back when things are normal, then 2 leg with empty to TEB and 1 leg to SMF, sat for 3 days and yesterday empty to OAK and today to DFW.

Hiltons are providing food of some sort, Uber eats works great, lots of empty ramps but XO is flying a fair amount. Next couple of days appear to have 1 or 2 legs at least.

Lots of my exSWA cohorts in hotels. Not flying many peps, Gary announces more airplanes to park this week, read they will have cut 40% of their flights by mid Apr. Will make home basing much more of a challenge on any carrier

Flt ops is flexing like a maniac and doing a great job dealing with constant changes. My hats off to them and to everyone flying the line or supporting those of us who do.

8 day rotation here.
Tuesday- flew to MSP to crew a tail.
Wednesday my captain caught a flight to OAK to get his .299 done
Thursday I sat in FCM waiting on the Captain to get in.
Friday second captain shows. Repo from FCM to OPF.
Saturday live leg OPF to LAS then empty to PSP
Sunday PSP to PLN overnight.
Monday PLN to TTN for a live leg from TTN to SFO
Tuesday sent home and back before noon.

With all this going on I do have to say that this was a weird rotation for sure. About half the flying I’m used to. Just hoping people keep booking us for personal travel plans or to just get to a place to hunker down. Insane changes on the schedule are now the norm with NO idea what’s coming the next day. thanks for all the write ups. I hope to see you on the road sometime. Seems like everywhere we landed we saw a X parked on the ramp.

What you gotta remember is whats happening to the individual is not whats happening to the company. I've had seasons where I was nonstop working and in the company call they reported things were slow and I've had the opposite happen. A slowdown in business is probably inevitable from the looks of the situation in the country right now but it's nearly impossible to gauge how the business is doing by looking at just your own schedule. It will be interesting to see what metrics the company reports in the next call.

The phrase "habitual liar" comes to mind.
