XOJET is currently hiring into a pool pretty much for attrition only right now. A friend of mine just got on with these guys and said internal recs and living on the east coast is everything. Also, very much a customer service oriented company, so customer service experience and experience dealing with executives and high profile customers is just as important as flight time and type ratings. Flying is only a fraction of the job is the way he put it to me.
I was able to get a phone interview about a month ago. After I thought it went great , they decided not to follow up with the hiring. I had no internal rec, I guess it was a lucky.

Their VNY-TEB shuttle performed poorly, read some current reviews over on Glassdoor. Compensation is low for these airframes.

Huh? There is no VNY-TEB "shuttle." There's a Coast 2 Coast program that hits this route quite often...along with TEB-OAK, OAK-HPN, BGR-VNY....I could go on. The "shuttle" is GMJ. Two different animals. I don't think anythings performing poorly as far as transcons. That's all i seem to do.

As Lear said...huh? What are you talking about? While it may seem like we run a 4x daily teb-VNY shuttle, it's just our busiest route. No scheduled service or seat sharing programs. As for the glassdoor reviews, draw your own conclusions. Lots of laundry has been aired...

Just for fun I'm gonna add my "huh?" as well. Sometimes I feel like I'm doing a TEB-VNY shuttle though!!!!

Default XOJET Update

I just got the call tonight that XOJET is resuming their interviews. They have two December times. I met the team at OBAP and had a bud from my military base get hired with them so it helped that he kept plugging my name and I kept calling Brandon their recruiting lead. Location is big right now with them. As for the interview I was told by my friend that is was the most intense interview he has had yet. Hope this helps you all out there.

Did your friend give you any insight as to what they asked? Just curious what made it so difficult
