Does having the ATP written done affect someone's chances of being contacted for an interview? I probably won't have the ATP written done by the end of July 31 because of fast-changing and unawaited events requiring me to go to a very remote part of the USA for the next six weeks, at an area where there is no likelihood of taking the exam, or even leaving momentarily to go and take it. I hope that won't count me out.

Not having the ATP won't hinder the call. Just need to complete it within 6 months preferably. Must be done by 12 months so your qual'd for upgrade when able.
