Just a suggestion, but if you're truly thinking about getting into corporate/charter, you need to reconsider the "I don't care what anyone thinks of me" attitude you have on the regional boards.

You'd be surprise how little the logbook plays into it.

reread your statement over and over and over again until you realize i dont want to hear what you have to say. if i stated that i dont care. it doesnt mean i want you to make a suggestion. it means just that.

So, what are upgrade times looking like on the Embraers and Citation? Is it worth sticking out there long enough to fly as PIC?

What does the pay look like for SICs first, second, third year?

Upgrade is dependent on a combination of factors, including total time, company need, and seniority. Typically, people here upgrade within 1-2 years depending on personal circumstances.

Sticking it out to be a PIC is a great opportunity, as you will receive a wealth of PIC turbine experience in a very diverse and dynamic environment. Not to mention we have fantastic SIC's.

1st, 2nd, 3rd year SIC pay all are the same, with the exception of a small merit based raise that can be awarded during an annual review.

I hope that's helpful, have a great evening.

How hard is it to get hired straight into PIC position? What times are they looking for? I have been flying 121 for about 4 years now and will jump at the chance for this. I just can't afford the jump for a sic position. Living in DFW area but would be willing to move.
