That sounds like a lot of paperwork for most people...

I faintly remember this time, which seems soooo long ago, when we didn't have cell phones. I really puzzles me to see how we ever survived all those years without this handy little pocket computers!

We carry 10x more computer on our hip than what the Apollo missions had onboard.

Do they prefer lower time candidates over higher time?

What seems to be the sweet spot for experience with this company?
We are still interviewing to fill multiple PIC and SIC positions. We like to see 2000TT as a min. That is so a guy is qualified to upgrade to PIC within a reasonable amount of time. We dont want to hire with too low time and then they guy is stuck in the right seat trying to build enough hours to qual for PIC.
There is no real "sweetspot" for experience or qualifications. You could have a guy that has 10K+ TT and 5 Types with lots of international experience at a 121 carrier. That does not necissarily make hime qualified for the position. This job is all about the person and how they can fit into a customer service type business. We can all fly stick and rudder, but can you add in the personality to properly work and serve the shareholders.
Some guys look great on paper, but just aren't the right fit. While sometimes, a guy who looks ok on paper will show that he is the right fit.
Hope this helps!
Cheers

A recommendation from me is a guaranteed denial; that's your only major barrier.

As long as I'm on a 135.299, then I accept your challenge.
