Monthly times vary upon what airplane your on. KA guys can't be more than 20-30. The phenom drivers avg 400-500/yr (so 40ish/month) and it depends on how much a guy wants to fly. Our BUF phenom drivers fly much less than our other bases.
I am a 100 and 300 qual'd captain and I have flown 520 in the last 12 months. Now...I like to fly and don't mind being out on the road.
As for MKC vs DFW.....both bases have a wide variety of legs. MKC seems to have a few more up to the NYC area but DFW sends more down south and out to the islands.

I had a call to interview for a spot in Kansas, but was unable to find the SO another job.
I believe it was "Ryan" who was explaining the job. Sounded like a real nice guy. I believe whoever has the opportunity to work here should seriously consider it.
Sounds like they are on the upswing.

The folks at EAS are extremely helpful. Everything that has been said on here recently about the facility, aircraft, and the staff is true. The process is super competitive. However [comma] they make you feel relaxed and the questioning is standard. But you're likely going to be up against some strong competition. My two comments of advice are, pick up the AIM, and maybe an "ASA Instrument Oral Exam Guide". Instrument Oral Exam Guide: The Comprehensive Guide to Prepare You for the FAA Oral Exam (Oral Exam Guide series): Michael D. Hayes: 9781560277576: Amazon.com: Books Review the subjects that you don't exercise often. I think I bombed it and its very embarrassing, but eye opening for me. I now know what areas need polishing and i'm going to get right on it. I've never done so poorly on such an exam. And all the questions were absolutely fair and relevant.
A big thanks goes out to the EAS folks. IMHO, if anyone out there gets a job offer, whether its pilot, or any other department, I'd take it! I was impressed, but I was expected to be. Consider yourself lucky if you get an offer from this fine corporation. good luck everyone. RI thank you so much for being so informative on this thread. We all appreciate that!
