I am a military pilot about to retire (available in October) with 5300+ TT and 3600 PIC. This company seems interesting and I would like to find out more. I am very interested in the KC base, guaranteed hrs and starting pay for anyone who might have that info. Thanks

RI830 will have all the info you need. He is a great person. I met him when I interviewed in Feb. It looked like a very nice company. Good luck

rmr,

We are hiring into multiple bases including MKC right now!
We don't have a "guaranteed" hours as we are salaried and your pay is the same whether you fly 1 hour or 1000 hours.
We start all SIC's at 36K
PIC's pay depends on the airframe.
58K for KA350
64K for Phenom 100
80K for Phenom 300

We do hire into the left seat when able!
Hope this helps.......let me know what else you might need to know

Thanks for all the info in this thread. Pretty rare a company has information shared directly from company management on a public forum. Transparency is great.

You guys still open to visitors in FTW? Seems like a good group.

Visitors are always welcome at FTW or DAL. Just a matter of catching someone there!!
I have been trying for months to get in contact with the right people in order to get our company info on APC.....but no luck.
Therefore I will keep hitting the thread!

After interviewing there last Friday I have nothing but nice things to say about RI and everyone else I met that day. Regardless of how the interview turns out for me it was apparent this is a classy operation with top notch people. Good luck to everyone that applies there.

RI,

Ty for the info. I live about 3 hrs from MCI right now... Too far? What is the normal expected response time when you are called in on a planned no fly day? I have family in the area and can stay with them for the normal planned fly days, but would like to be at home when able (assuming I was lucky enuf to catch on). How is commuting a few hrs viewed?

We require our pilots to be within an hour of the base airport. Our callout time is 2 hrs to the airport and 3 to wheels up. If you are beyond 1 hr, then you will not have any QOL on a standby day as in you will be constantly on the hot seat.
