Yep I am PIC on the 300 and 350. Hard to say. I go by th motto "fly plane collect check" I try to know as little as possible. I do know since December we have lost 3 300 PIC's one to went to United, one to a 91 gig and the other to a 135 job we also lost 4 350 PIC's. Two to Wheels Up, one to Flight Safety the other resigned. As far as SIC's can't say I never see the same one twice in the 300 and it seems we do a lot of dual PIC trips in the 350. I do enjoy it here and once you get to the 10/5 schedule it makes a world of difference.

I will have to allow someone on property comment on the moving expenses.
As for the upgrade, the "merit" based is that you are eligible (not seat locked), have the minimum total time for the position and have no one ahead of you waiting for that same position.
There is no real "time with company" for the upgrade.
Take a serious look at EAS! Lots of great people over at EAS.

I just saw a post for a 350 PIC in DAL. What is the schedule if anyone knows. Also can you move to different bases and planes once hired or are you stuck? Is it possible to commute? I am on the east coast and don't want to move. I have an ATP and a bit over 1000 PIC in the 300/350.

There is a one-year seat lock whenever you complete an initial type-rating in an aircraft. So, as a new hire, that basically means you aren't eligible to upgrade or add/switch types for one year.
Schedule is 12 days of availability followed by 3 hard days off. That changes to 10 on/5 off after 18 months on property (PICs only). I don't fly the King Air so I'm not in a position to comment on how many of the "on" days those guys typically fly.
It is possible to move bases or aircraft. It's based on operational need and seniority. There's also a seat lock - see my comment above.
And finally, no, commuting is not allowed. You have to live within about 45 minutes of a base. I know that's a major gripe for a lot of people considering EAS, but in my opinion it would be very difficult to maintain the "regional fractional" business model while having pilots commute. For me, the benefits of this job outweighed my hesitation to move (and after living in KC for almost a year now I have zero regrets), but obviously that's going to be a different decision for every person.

Don't hold me to it but I think the 350 position is for the managed side. If that is the case then I can't comment on the schedule. We do need 350 PIC's on the frac side. I am on the frac side and the last 2 rotations I have had my 5 hard days off usually with a stby at home day on both ends so that makes it 7 days. Granted you have to be avaiable on stby day but rarely have I been called in.

I would assume it was Wheels Up. Seems everyone is jumping ship here to go to there, sales guys included. Can't blame them. SIC's make almost as much as are PIC's and there PIC's are making as much as our 300 guys. For the first 18 months at WU the schedule is better.

I was told that WU was keeping the KA and Citations seperate.
Any guy hired into the KA's would have little or no chance to go into the Citations.
Can anyone confirm that? Rumor has it that two guys walked out of class after learning that.
