If you can get hired, I suggest you move if your family situation allows.

I'm sure these have been answered somewhere, but bear with me:
What are all the current bases?
What are the schedules like?
How many hours does someone typically fly in a month?
What is SIC and PIC pay after year one?
What are competitive times for the Phenom positions?
How similar is the Phenom to the E145?
Where is training done?
Are you paid during training?
Are you paid per diem?
Any 401k? 401k match?
Vacation?
Anything else you might want to throw in there about general QOL?

I just went to visit the FTW base today. RI is a great guy and pretty much answered all of my pertinent questions. All the airplanes are nice and the 300 is really nice... I really hope that I get the opportunity to fly the 100 and 300. Most likely I will go interview next Friday! Fingers crossed...

Man, that would save you a lot of keystrokes, RI.

If you are interested in the job I would certainly read every page of this thread a few times through.

Maybe in the meantime while waiting for an official profile to be published someone (I have an idea of someone who might) could basically make a big post formatted like the published profiles and keep it current as necessary. Then when someone asks one of the zillion repeated questions, we can just post a link to that specific post...
As others have mentioned, I too spent a couple evenings reviewing this entire thread before asking questions. RI830 is more patient than just about anyone I know!

Gents and ladies (if present),
Sorry for the delayed response. I will get a full report to the listed questions above and post when able. Hopefully in 48 hrs or so.
I will keep it as a word doc and I can cut n paste as needed and we can also create a lnk to page 750 million of our EAS thread!!
I am up to my ears in apps and phone calls for our new positions, therefore the delay on getting back to you

Seems silly to me to read a thread for hours or even days trying to find answers that are a year old or more, when most likely, someone can readily provide those answers. 770+ posts seems a little overkill. I wouldn't attribute that to laziness, but to a simple lack of time to be reading forums for hours. Plus, I'm a slow reader. I would much rather be spending time with the friends and family. I agree that it would be much easier to have a APC page dedicated to the company itself so hopefully APC can get that up and running eventually.
Anyways, I came up with a few more questions:
I saw somewhere that you like to see 3000 hours to upgrade but what are minimums for direct entry captains?
Would someone right around 3000 hours be most likely to be offered a job as an FO or a CA?
Are trips assigned based on seniority or how are they assigned?

"I want to learn about this company, but am unwilling to invest the time. Instead, I want to goof off and have fun while someone else does the work."
Another employer's dream.
Babs, while you are having fun with your family and friends, five guys with drive and initiative have read all the posts, networked with company employees, and have gotten their resumes walked in the door. At least one of them is going to get an interview with the company. I predict that you won't get an interview because of your laziness, and that you're going to ***** and moan about what an unfair world this is.
