ALPA Daily news coverage of Frontier
Does anyone else notice all the negative Frontier news feeds on the ALPA Daily? Every other airline seems to get good press. Even with the announcement of future expansion they spend half the article talking about United and Kirby.

I doubt ALPA is hand picking these stories, most likely they have a google news type alert system set up and they pull articles from there. Between our communications director taking it upon himself to personally insult a local journalist, in our home to market no less, to the $400,000 fine we just received from the DOT, the news hasn't been all that positive as of late.

Seems more significant when your see your employer in the headline. If you searched the updates when Dr pill for pleasure got dragged off, or Deltas ATL meltdown happened you feel see differently. Something will happen elsewhere next week and they will move on.

They are google type alert systems.
They really aren't hand picking these stories. However, if they were then good. It shows how inept our management is and it's failure to treat it's employees, passengers and the press with any respect.

I do not see anything getting stomped except UAL's stock after they take a beating trying to match fares. Frontier will still fill up planes like it has been doing and UAL will run at a loss. UAL will probably bring in some bottom feeder regional like Mesa to fly these routes as well.
I see fail written all over it.
The only exception would be for UAL to acquire someone like JB and make them their ULCC division. But even then the legacy carriers always fail when they go outside their business model to compete.

It's not even a competition... I have no idea why Kirby is even saying anything... we're gonna go to Albuquerque 3 times a week maybe? They do it probably 6 times a day? This is so stupid... every airline is making money hand over fist right now except united... they'll fizzle out on their own when the economy tanks or fuel goes up
