I actually question your reasoning for voting NO but will save that for another post.
It is not irresponsible to vote NO. It may be irresponsible to vote without conducting all due diligence. But at the end of the day if you've done all your brain can do, and vote YES or NO, it could never be considered irresponsible. Maybe you didn't really mean that.

Operator of an airbus with a single class. Makes your airbus configuration different then other Airbus aircraft. I know for a pilot like you it’s hard to understand, but trust me kiddo, we can get through this!

by voting yes to this contract a 6 yr captain at F9 will solidify $45,000 a year less in income than a 6 yr Jet blue captain based on about 80hrs credit in just per diem, rate difference and retirement contribution. That’s without profit sharing. Over five years that’s well over $225,000. Using whatever cost basis analysis you want, that’s a lot, and the time value of money will increase the difference gap. Whatever money calculator they show you won’t show you the money you’ll never get if you negotiate a better deal!! That’s just jet blue. Using United (get ready for the cries of we’re not United) starting in ‘19 a 6 yr captain goes to $270. At 80 hrs that’s $58,000 a yr difference and that’s just rates. I know rates aren’t everything but throw in DC and we are STARTING this contract at a $75,000 PER YEAR deficit from United. And they are negotiating a new contract and will likely be renegotiating the one they are currently working on BEFORE we finish this one. WE ARE WAY BEHIND AND FALLING FURTHER BEHIND!!!
Remember there was a time when we were ACTUALLY in the pattern, making as much and more than some of the airlines we are told we can’t compare ourselves to, including jet blue.

I thought you were also a Frontier PILOT?!? Why identify the Frontier planes as "your" plane and not "our" plane?????

If you aren't a PILOT, why are you posting in a PILOT forum for Frontier PILOTS with such a strong opinion on the ratification of this contract?

I suppose this is more rhetorical than anything. The fact you joined in DEC 2018 and have nearly 25 posts either in support of this contract or causing strife with those who are against it answers the question.

YOUR, is a direct comment to the original poster not a position of where I am or what I do. Good try anyway!
Oh and you know people so make accounts on sites they normally don’t visit when big things happen... Like a contract.... Juat a thought for you! Wait... I mean Us? Ours? 😉

Stay with me here, because you’re quite slow. Pilots get type ratings for specific makes and families of aircraft. The Airbus 320 family comes in different configurations of fuselage (that’s the tube part for you non-pilots), landing gear, and engines. They are delivered from Airbus for many carriers with NO seats at all. Holy smokes, no seats in the back, how does it fly?!
We receive zero training, nor do we care what type of seats are contained within the tube of the plane, however we have as an industry classified compensation for the total number of souls on board any aircraft can hold.
Which by Frontier’s high density configuration should put us at industry-leading compensation for operating the Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Assuming that we’d work under current book for the rest of our careers vs this TA, you’re correct. That’s just not the case though. You don’t know that there won’t be significant improvements in TA2. I don’t know that there will be, but based on TA1 it’s a risk I’m willing to take.

I’m with you sweetheart. So based on how many people we have in the back in a 320/21 our closest other airline that has the same type of “tube” configuration is Spirit. I’d say we are pretty much there. Sorry snowflake, we will never be industry leading here, but you can keep slamming your keyboard until you feel better

It’s so witty and non-sensical at the same time! Amazing!
